Fictitious Logo Project

Learning how to Fly
Project Overview
This was a fun personal project to break up client work. The idea was to act as if each remarkable plane was a company and they needed a logo. As I would with any logo project, I used the unique features of each company and incorporated it within the logo.
My Contributions
I worked on one at a time starting by sketching a ton of rough ideas. Then picked a couple I liked the most and made a more detailed version of each. Lastly, digitalized my favorite and tweaked it until I was happy. It was fun being the client again.
spitfire logo

Based off the Spitfire, this logo depicts the water droplet body shape of the airplane.

predator logo

The MQ-1 Predator is known for it's limitless surveillance capabilities. The infinity sign logo works as binoculars and also uses a P and S.

falcon financial logo

The F-16 Fighting Falcon has a recognizable air intake on its belly. This design utilizes that shape and also uses Falcon-like claws.

osprey logo mockup

The V-22 Osprey is a hybrid between a helicopter and an airplane. The propellers lift it straight up, then adjust forward once up to speed. The logo uses the twin propellers and shows the energy being gained from the ocean current.

airplane logo

The P-38 Lightning is recognizable for its 3 part body shape. This logo uses that aspect and also resembles a commonly seen power icon.
